Add some mischievous charm to your gear with this humorous Opossum patch featuring the phrase “Let’s Eat Trash & Get Hit by a Car.” This embroidered 3" x 3" patch is perfect for jackets, sweaters, backpacks, purses, and more—anywhere that could use a little feral energy and personality.

Each patch is made to order and stitched with clean detail. The listing shows the actual patch, though slight color variations may occur due to lighting and thread differences. Choose iron-on for quick application or sew-on for long-term durability.

For best results, sewing is always recommended. Iron-on patches work best on cotton, polyester, or poly-blend fabrics and should not be used on nylon, rayon, vinyl, or leather.

Patch Details & Care

How do I care for my patch?

Patches hold up best when sewn on. If using iron-on, avoid overheating the glue and follow the included instructions. For hook backing, make sure the surface you’re attaching to is loop-compatible. Hand-wash or spot-clean the garment for longest life.

What backing options do you offer?

All patches are available as sew-on, iron-on, or hook.

Sew-on: Most durable

Iron-on: Quick application

Hook: Great for bags, vests, or gear with loop panels

Choose your preferred backing at checkout.

What materials do you use?

Each patch is stitched on Ottertex fabric, using durable, colorfast polyester thread. This gives every patch a sturdy base with clean detail and long-lasting wear. All pieces are made in-house, one at a time, to ensure consistent quality.

How do I iron on a patch?

Set your iron to medium–high heat (cotton setting).

Place the patch where you want it, embroidery facing up.

Cover it with a thin cloth or pressing cloth to protect the threads.

Press firmly for 20–30 seconds without moving the iron.

Flip the item inside out and press the back for another 20–30 seconds.

Let it cool completely to set the adhesive.

For long-term durability, sewing is always recommended—especially on items that will be washed or exposed to heavy use.
